Of all the Christmas parties I have been lately the most unique and entertaining party has been the one that African women from Sudan prepared in Metro MRC. They did not let enter any single man. They cooked dishes from their country and we ate with our hands.

Art Gallery NSW

The Art Gallery NSW is one of my favorite shelters of the city . It smells like winter to me, because I spent many rainy afternoons of the winter of Sydney between its pictures and its author's cinema. Yesterday I visited it again with Brandy and enjoyed the silence between the walls, the look of Rubens and the still lifes that work up an appetite.We talked about Greece and the dresses so wonderful in the paintings. We visited Venice and went out to the  sunlight of Sydney.

El Art Gallery NSW es uno de mis refugios favoritos de la ciudad. Me huele a invierno, porque he pasado muchas tardes de lluvia del invierno de Sydney entre sus obras y sus ciclos de cine de autor. Ayer lo visité de nuevo con Brandy y disfrutamos del silencio entre sus paredes, de la mirada de Rubens y los bodegones que abren el apetito. Hablamos de Grecia y de los vestidos tan maravillosos de las pinturas. Visitamos Venecia y salimos al sol de Sydney.

When we went to Northern Territory, slept one night in the middle of nowhere, on a beautiful hill in the West MacDonnell Ranges National Park. There, in the morning,had breakfast at an incredible place, as dawn broke over us.

Cuando fuimos a Northern Territory, dormimos una de las noches en mitad de la nada, en una maravillosa colina en West Macdonnell Ranges National Park. Allí, por la mañana, desayunamos en un increíble paraje, mientras amanecía sobre nosotros.

When we were in Northern Territory we went to King's Canyon. We did a route of about 3 hours where we could walk on lands as Mars. The nature (dead) there is impressive. This picture reflects 'a little' of the wildness of the landscape.

Cuando estuvimos en Northern Territory fuimos a King's Canyon. Hicimos una ruta de unas 3 horas donde pudimos caminar por terrenos de lo más marciano. La naturaleza (muerta) allí es impresionante. Esta foto refleja 'un poco' lo salvaje del paisaje.

Looking at the photos I have of winter in Australia I remembered our trip to Broken Hill from Sydney. It was an adventure getting into the outback and living our first experience in the remotest areas of New South Wales.

Yesterday we toured three beaches in search of 'Sculptures by the sea', Bondi, Tamarrama and Bronte. A good excuse for a lovely excursion. Summer day.

The Clothing Exchange and North Sydney Council would like to invite you to the Big Aussie Swap Party.

The number of items is limited to six per person of: Ladies clothes, hats, scarfs, gloves, handbags and shoes.

Check-in is between 6.30pm - 7.30pm

1. Only new or lightly used clothes are accepted

2. There is a limit of six items per person for clothing and/or accessories

3. The swap begins at 7.45pm sharp and finishes 8.45pm

4. All left over items will be donated to charity.

5. Once your items are at the swap party they are no longer yours.

6. No soiled, damaged or overused items.

7.NOT ACCEPTED: Track suits, sporting items or jewellery.

Bring along any used batteries and mobile phones and place them in the battery and mobile phone recycling bins provided.

But what does happen to me and conjunctivitis? Before coming to Australia I had an attack of these in the other eye.What a revenge! Nature reminds me every day how weak my eyes are. The funniest thing of all, telling what happens to me to pharmaceuticals. Anyway, send me much virtual encouragement!
